What do I get?
The downloadable package consists of:
- Full colour picture of finished work
- Full colour symbol legend and guide to colours (DMC numbers and names used)
- Full colour easy-to-read chart with overlaid symbols printable on any printer (usually 4-6 pages)
- Open one of our free patterns to see a sample of our charts.
How will I know what the finished product will look like?
Unlike many sites, all of our pictures show finished cross stitch work, not the original artwork or photograph it is based on, therefore “what you see is what you get”. We work through each pattern, block by block to ensure quality definition and ease of use.
What Floss is Used?
All our patterns are based on DMC floss available at most needlework retail outlets. All pieces are based on 14 stitch Aida canvas. Each chart comes with a legend of colors/symbols used and the corresponding DMC thread color. If your local store does not carry DMC, they will be able to help you with converting to another brand.
How do I place an order?
As you browse through the website and see an item you like, simply click on the “Buy Now” button. You will then be forwarded to a secure Paypal page. You may use your credit card or your Paypal account.
How will I receive my order?
Once payment is verified through Paypal, you will immediately receive an email with a link to the pattern. Click on the link and the chart will automatically open containing the pattern and a large full color picture of the finished project. Save it to your computer.
The patterns are in pdf. format. Most computers now already have Adobe Reader installed but if yours doesn’t you can download it here FREE.
How do I print my pattern?
The chart can be printed off any printer on standard 8.5″ x 11″ . It has both color blocks and symbols so a color printer is preferable but not necessary. Patterns are spread over multiple pages (usually 4) in order to make the them large and easily readable. Once it is saved onto your computer you can print it off as many times as you like.
Where can I buy the floss and fabric to begin my project?
Bring the list of floss colors included with your pattern to your local craft store. To find a store near you see here: Store Search
